In the early hours of this morning, people across Ireland and further afield turned out to support this year’s Darkness into Light event.
The annual event raises awareness and funds for Pieta House, a non-profit organisation that provides support for anyone struggling with their mental health.
This is the eight year that the suicide and self-harm crisis centre has organised the #DIL walk and again, there was a massive show of support, with many taking to social media to get behind the cause.
It has spread far and wide too with people snapping their #DIL experiences around the world, including Sydney, Calgary and Melbourne.
