We can kind of see why.
KFC Australia were launching a line of Hot and Spicy chicken products, so their marketing team got together to try and come up with a snappy campaign to launch the new meaty delights.
One of them must have said ‘Oh guys, how about if we put a man and a woman on the couch, with a bucket of chicken on the man’s crotch. We’ll blur out his crotch and have the woman look like she’s reaching for his nether regions. It’ll be sexy.’
They ended up with exactly that, and naturally there were a few people that weren’t too into the campaign.

Also, we’re not sure if spicy food and crotch touching mix either.
KFC tweeted again later to apologise for the campaign, which they pulled after an hour. A lot of people were offended, but a lot of other people also thought it was pretty gas.
We are very sorry for our earlier tweet on H&S – we didn’t mean to offend and removed it when we realised we’d made an error in judgment.
