Here’s how you can beat the January blues and do something great for charity

January is tough, isn't it?

The excitement of Christmas is over and summer still feels like a long way away. But before you get too down in the dumps you might be pleasantly surprised to know that there is a simple way to beat the Monday morning blues and help others too. Hurray! To celebrate the launch of the brand new Citroën C3 we will be hitting the streets of Dublin next Monday, the 16th January (aka Blue Monday) to spread a little joy and January cheer. We will be joining forces with comedian extraordinaire Marcus O'Laoire to perform random acts of kindness and no gesture is too big or too small. Did your friend smash their phone over Christmas? Maybe your sister really deserves a spa weekend away? Whatever you need we will bring right to your doorstep. Seriously! So, how will these random acts of kindness work? Well, we will be asking our lovely readers to either tag their friends on Facebook and Instagram, send us in a Snapchat, or Tweet us using #C3FeelGood. We will then choose some of our favourite suggestions and race around the city to complete them. Each time you nominate a friend to receive a random act of kindness Citroën will make a €2 donation to children's charity Make-A-Wish Ireland on your behalf, with a target to reach a total of €3,000. You can nominate by commenting on the campaign posts on Her, JOE or Citroën Facebook and Instagram pages, or by tweeting with the #C3FeelGood and tagging the friend that you feel deserves a treat on Feel Good Monday.
