We’ve all had jobs where we’ve been tempted to turn around and tell our boss exactly what we think… but most of the time, we bite our lip and get on with it.
However, this school worker finally had enough when they were given grief by their boss over falling ill and decided to hand in their notice with the most sarcastic letter they could muster.
Reddit user Gahdzuks posted an image of the letter to Reddit this week, adding that their boss “terrorizes everyone” and this behaviour had provoked the frustrated response.
“I am sorry that my step-mother died so suddenly from cancer. I am sorry that I am not a robot and was emotionally affected by her passing and had to miss work,” they said.
“I am sorry I got sick and had to miss work so that I didn’t get anyone else sick. Clearly I am a terrible employee and for that I apologise.”
