Mayweather's father has come out and said that there had been talks for the two to fight, but it seems unlikely that this will happen. Dana White, UFC President laughed off the rumours, stating: "It's not true; it's just a tabloid story. And as far as I knew, Floyd is retired and he's been on a world-wide vacation and hasn't even been thinking of fighting." Mixed messages from all sides.
