We hate it.
It’s one of those things that rarely happens but when it does, it’s rotten. Maybe it’s a lovely day in Ireland and you decide to take a trip to your local beach, or else it could be on holiday when you want to spend some time in the sea.
All lovely concepts, but then you go to leave and you cannot get sand off your feet. It’s just not happening.
No matter how hard you try to rub it off, there will always be little bits stuck in between your toes and on the sole of your foot.
It’s a small thing to get annoyed over, but boy, do we get annoyed over it.
However, users on Mumsnet have a handy hack for getting sand off your feet – talc powder!
The users wrote: “Chuck a load on your feet to help brush off the sand that’s stuck to them. Works like a charm.”
While another said: “Tried talc on sand today… got a few weird looks but lo and behold, it did in fact work!”
We will definitely be trying this the next time we go to the beach!
