Smile! This is how to take the very best photo of yourself

Taking pictures can be hard.

If you want to take a good pic for the 'gram, then a lot of things need to be considered. It seems simple, but it's why we have about 30 photos in our camera rolls of basically the same picture, taken in slightly different ways. What way do you stand? Where do you put your arms? Do you smile with your mouth open or closed? Which side is is you 'best' side? WHERE'S THE LIGHT?! Well, a posing expert has told HelloGiggles how to strike the perfect pose... and he makes it seem fairly easy. Jesse DeYoung, who owns a posing school in LA three years ago said:

"Don't be afraid to try stuff. Know where your light is—that's one of the main things I tell people. Know where your light source is, and then angle towards that. "And have what you're doing make sense for what you're trying to accomplish. Make it authentic. Figure out what it is that you're trying to say, and then pose for that."
