We can’t quite get our heads around it.
Last night we brought you the news that high-end perfumer Art de Parfum has released a gin and tonic-scented perfume.
The fragrance, which combines a gin accord with notes of grapefruit peel, sweet resinous juniper, cucumber and lemon, comes at an extortionate price – €122.06 for just 50ml.
The whole thing seems a bit odd to us, which is why we have so many questions about it.
- Can you drink it?
- What kind of gin are we talking – is it like a Cork Dry Gin or somethings fancier like a Hendricks?
- Who thought it’d be a good idea?
- Will it put you off drinking G&Ts?
- Will it seep into your skin and get you tipsy?
- Will there be a follow up vodka and white fragrance?
- Does this logic apply to other beauty products – will we see a rum and coke skincare range?
- Where do you store it? On your bedside locker or in the fridge?
- Will it attract bees?
- Does it burn your skin?
- Who is its target audience?
- Will it help you tempt your dry-arse friend to come out with you?
- Will non-gin drinkers like it?
- What percentage alcohol is it?
- Do you get a hangover if you wear too much of it?
- Will it take the edge off if you’re having a sober month?
- Will it be sold to under-agers?
- Can pregnant ladies wear it?
- Are you ok to drive while wearing it?
- HOW ON EARTH IS IT SO DEAR?
