If you were thinking about going veggie, this might help.
Vegetarianism can be tricky. Finding nutritional and filling meals that don’t include meat can be a struggle at first but once you get the hang of it, it’s very manageable.
You’ve probably heard about the numerous health benefits to ditching meat such as reducing the risk of heart disease, lowering the risk of cholesterol and obesity.
However, a new study has found that there is another, unexpected benefit to going veggie.
According to researchers at Charles University, those who don’t eat meat smell significantly better and even sexier than their meat-eating counterparts.
A group of men were split into two groups, one that would eat meat for two weeks and one that would be on a vegetarian diet. The men were required to wear cotton pads under their armpits and the pads were then put in jars. A group of women smelled these scent-infused jars and rated them on a seven-point scale for “sexiness,” “pleasantness,” and “intensity.” They did not know beforehand which scents belonged to which men.
They rated the vegetarian men’s scent much higher in sexual attractiveness and pleasantness. They rated the meat-eaters scent higher in intensity.
So if you’re really concerned with smelling better, become a vegetarian, or at least up your intake of fruit and vegetables.
