Flying to London for prosecco might at first seem extreme… but on closer examination and inspection we reckon it’s perfectly justifiable.
Yes, ’tis the season and the arrival of a pop-up prosecco bar filled has made us feel all festive and cheery inside.
Located in the Pall Mall area of the city (five minutes from Trafalgar Square; the nearest tube stations are Piccadilly Circus or Charing Cross), it’s all being hosted by Sainsbury’s and runs for a total of three days from December 7 to 9.
Entry is FREE – although that does mean demand is going to be sky-high.
And as well as the range of Sainsbury’s sparkling wines (available by the glass and the bottle at ‘temptingly tasty prices’, according to the supermarket) there will also be a selection of seasonal platters on offer: think meats, antipasti, and speciality cheese.
Each booking gets you an hour and a half at the bar and is limited to a maximum of six people.
