Instagram and TikTok simply never disappoint – especially when it comes to alerting us to delicious new trends we need to know about.
It’s only a mere weeks ago that Dalgona coffee – AKA whipped coffee– more or less broke the internet, and yet now already – here is its prettier little sister, it seems.
Whipped strawberry milk is the latest social media food trend – basically, the same concept as Dalgona coffee – only much prettier – and strawberry flavoured.
Using strawberry Nesquik, the pretty pink drink shares a lot of similarities with its coffee counterpart—it’s light, easy to make, and undeniably Insta-perfect, too! It recently caught the world’s attention of the world when foodie influencer Valentina Mussi (@sweetportfolio) posted about her whipped strawberry milk recipe, which also makes use of just three ingredients—strawberry Nesquik powder, heavy cream, and fresh milk.

If you have already tested the whipped coffee trend, you know the drill already. First, you have got to whisk the strawberry Nesquik powder and heavy cream together until they form soft to firm peaks. Then, pour out a glass with chilled milk (dairy or plant-based) – and do add an ice cube or two for the proper experience. To finish the drink off, serve the pink froth over chilled fresh milk— YUM!
Oh, and if you want to be really fancy, put the strawberry fluff into a piping bag before adding it to the milk – and you can have that perfect swirl on top!
The result? Sugary, pink, fluffy perfection!
