Woman comes out of coma to find fiancé moved on with another woman

"He's completely and utterly left me in the dust."

A woman has revealed that she woke up from a three month coma to find her fiancé had ghosted her and moved on with someone else. Brie Duval was 25-years-old when she was out with friends and fell from a wall outside a rooftop bar, crashing headfirst into the pavement. After suffering a brain injury and several broken bones, she was placed in an induced coma in hospital. Doctors predicted she had a 10% chance of survival, but her loved ones didn't give up on her and kept her on life support. When she first woke up, she experienced some amnesia, but things slowly began to come back to her and she decided to reach out to her partner. Brie was left shocked and devastated when she realised he had deleted and blocked her from all social media platforms and moved on with another woman.

"I was finally given my phone and my first thought was to call him and just see if he knew what happened. He hadn't been to see me," Brie told The Mirror. "So I opened my phone going to message him when a message pops up from this woman that says 'I am now with [partner's name]. I have moved him out. He's now living with me and my son, please do not contact him'. "I have not heard from him since I have been in hospital, he's completely and utterly left me in the dust. So I don't even have closure as to why this happened." Brie has also been sharing her coma experience on TikTok, where she compared her story to the Netflix movie Senior Year starring Rebel Wilson. In the movie, the actress plays a 17-year-old girl gets in an accident while cheerleading and wakes up 20 years later, still thinking she's a teenager. She also creates videos answering general questions her followers have about comas.
