Love Island is many things, but Question Time it is not
People come to the ITV2 show for many different reasons, but serious political discussion is not one of them.
So when Georgia brought it with the other girls, it lead to maybe the finest moment on British TV since that guy flew off the handle on Come Dine With Me.
Georgia innocently asked “What do you think about Brexit?”.
To which Hayley beautifully replied: “What’s that?” *Facepalm emoji*

To be fair, it’s only been incredibly big and divisive. And dominating the media, internet and countless discussions.
To their credit, the rest of the girls calmly and succinctly explained to her that we are leaving the EU, with Dani expanding that “welfare.. could be cut down”.
Hayley’s response:
“Does that mean we won’t have any tress?”
*One million facepalm emojis*
Dani continues, saying that it will effect freedom of movement.
Hayely’s dismayed reaction:
“So it will be harder to go on holiday? Oh, I love my holidays.”
Oh Hayley hun 👀🙄 #loveisland

“what do you think about brexit?”
“what’s that?”
“it’s us leaving the EU. we won’t be part of europe anymore”
“does that mean we won’t have any trees?”
Hayley is clearly the brains of the group #LoveIsland

I am SO JEALOUS that Hayley has somehow managed to avoid the entire concept of Brexit. #loveisland

To be fair, it’s not like Love Island and Question Time haven’t already crossed over this week.
The next question follows the return of @LoveIsland to television screens this week #bbcqt pic.twitter.com/Q25IF4P36Y
