Tell your ma, quick.
Mamma Mia! is like marmite – you either love it or you hate it.
It’s also gloopy, poorly packaged, and painful to digest at times, but hey, who are we to judge peoples’ individual tastes?
Mamma Mia! – both the movies and the stage adaptations – have been a great success over the years.
People love sitting down and watching good looking people single classic Abba songs while they kiss, ride, and eventually get married.
Something to break up the day, you know?
The first Mamma Mia! film was a hit. The second Mamma Mia! film was a hit. And now, Abba’s Bjorn Ulvaeu has said that he isn’t ruling out the possibility for a third film.
Wouldn’t say no, we guess.
During an upcoming interview for Magic Radio, the Swedish star said making the series a trilogy isn’t entirely beyond the realm of possibility.
“If someone comes up with an idea for Mamma Mia! 3 you know I’ll have a look at it,” he said. “We’ll have a look at it.”
Great, Bjorn, cheers for that.
The singer also teased fans about some upcoming Abba tracks he has been working on, but said that people were going to have to be patient until the songs were finished.
“There will be a new song, a couple of new songs coming,” he said. “But I’ve been saying this for such a long time. I’m not saying when any more.”
“I’m just saying we have them and they will be released eventually.”
Great, yeah, cool.
You can listen to Bjorn’s interview in full on Magic Radio this Sunday at 7pm.
