Science has confirmed which famous man has the ‘most perfect face’

Finally, those scientists are putting all their numbers and equations to good use!

Back in Ancient Greece, they came up with something called the 'Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi', which they claimed measured the potentially perfect face. Basically, if your face managed to possess a specific set of ratios of distance and size between your eyes, forehead, nose, lips, etc., then it could be mathematically proven that you had a "perfect face". This was the equation that Da Vinci used when he was creating his Virtruvian Man, and that guy seemed to know what he was on about, so if it was good enough for him, then it is good enough for us. It is also good enough for Dr. Julian De Salva, who runs The Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery in London, and spoke to the Daily Mail about using computer mapping technology on some of the world's most famous faces, to scientifically figure out who was the best looking bloke in the world (providing they're famous, obviously). Speaking of the highest scoring face, De Salva said:

"He has beautiful facial symmetry and gets closer than any other man to having what the Greeks considered the perfect face. [He] had a near perfect ratio of nose to lip dimension of 99.6 per cent and his chin and eye spacing were almost perfect as well. Across the 12 key markers he had the highest combined score."

So who was talking about? None other than George Clooney. Yup, Handsome George has now got the scientifically-proven best-looking face in the world. Congrats, buddy.
