Pamela Anderson was one of the guests on the RTÉ Ray Darcy show last night and people were annoyed by how the interview was conducted.
Growing up in the 90s, Saturday evenings were all about Baywatch (and Blind Date) and so we had to have a look at last night’s interview.
A number of people took to Twitter afterwards to say that they were disappointed with how the show host approached the chat with the American star.
If you missed it, you can catch up on the RTÉ player here to see how Ray asked questions about Baywatch, Playboy, Pam’s work as an animal rights activist and how she has recovered from Hepatitis C.
The relentless innuendo of that interview was unnecessary and disrespectful. Really surprised at #RayDarcyShow . Pamela seemed lovely.

Really wish it was @roisiningle interviewing Pamela Anderson instead of Ray Darcy. Lazy questions and constant sexual innuendo. #FuckSakeRay — Iseult Casey (@IseultCasey) November 14, 2015
‘There you are there, on your knees’ ‘It’s been great having you… Oh, I should rephrase that!’ Ugh. Go away, Ray. #RayDarcyShow

First time I’ve watched it but #RayDarcyShow treatment of Pamela Anderson was just plain nasty and disrespectful — Conall Ó Fátharta (@ococonuts) November 14, 2015
As an Irish citizen I would like to apologise to @pamfoundation. She didn’t deserve that disrespect. Awful way to be treated #RayDarcyShow
