We’ll just be brushing up on our performances until then.
In 2008, we were given the wonderful movie that is Mamma Mia! and we thought no movie musical could bring us as much fun. But then, 10 years later, we were given Mammia Mia! Here We Go Again and our love was rekindled once more.
Rather than trying to make the movie work as a full sequel, it took the prequel route, giving us a bit of a look into Sophie and Sky’s future but mainly focusing on flashbacks to when Sophie’s mother, Donna, moved to the little Greek island where the story is set.

That meant that we got the full taste of the 70s vibe that Abba had when they performed their own songs, which is the best way to experience them, we think. The movie outfits are fantastic, the story is fantastic, the music is fantastic. What can we say? It’s a movie to make you happy.
Plus with a top-quality cast too. We’re looking about you, surprise Cher appearance.
And now, finally, it’s coming to Netflix.
It will be arriving this June 26 so you have a whole month to prepare your voice for singing along to classic Abba tunes like When I Kissed the Teacher, Fernando, and Andante Andante.
Now all we need is the first movie on Netflix and we’re sorted.
