Making a Muderer’s Steven Avery is getting married

We weren't expecting this.

You would think that because Steven Avery is still behind bars that he would have a hard time getting himself a partner. But perhaps now that his nephew's conviction was overturned, he's hoping to be out soon too. Now he has something very special to look forward to if he does get released, and that is, planning a wedding. After eight long months of phone calls, followed by a meeting in person in September Avery is now engaged to Lynn Hartman. Lynn is a formal legal assistant and bankruptcy paralegal from Las Vegas According to UpRoxx a post on the  Steven Avery Project Facebook page, which was then deleted, was where the announcement of the engagement was made.

“I am very happy to announce that Steven Avery asked me to marry him today, and I accepted. It has been a difficult road getting to this point in our lives but we are very happy,” she allegedly wrote. “Despite all obstacles, and Steven’s wrongful conviction and incarceration, we plan to be married shortly after he is released.”

Steven Avery also had his own say on the news, despite the fact that he may not be released for a very long time, or at all.

“She’s going to be my future wife, we’ll be laughing forever,” “I’m happy, she treats me decent, she loves me, she’s kind of spoiling me right now. I just want to be happy and enjoy my life, I think I did enough time.”
