Between the highly-anticipated reunion, Netflix re-runs and the latest merchandise it’s safe to say that our love for Friends continues to grow.
If all this doesn’t somehow scratch that Friends itch, then you’re in luck. A cruise ship inspired by the hugely popular sitcom is set to hit the seas next year.
The ‘Cruise with Friends’ experience will take place aboard the Celebrity Equinox which will embark from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in May 2022. From there, it will journey to Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel in Mexico.
The experience, which has been created by Fana World Travel, will allow fans to get together and share their love for the show.
Activities include a costume contest and a trivia game, all while travelling in style.
The website reads: “Your senses will come alive as you experience custom entertainment and an abundance of merriment along the way.
“Get ready to eat like Joey, joke like Chandler, cook like Monica, shop like Rachel, yoga like Phoebe and dig like Ross.”
Prices for the Friends cruise start at $1,648.66 (€1354.08) which gets you an inside stateroom. For a more lux experience in a Sky Suite with a balcony, you can expect to pay $3,048.66 (€2503.93).
Additionally, your fee includes a premium beverage package, unlimited wifi and some offshore spending credit.
Even if you’re not a massive fan of the show, the experience of being aboard the Celebrity Equinox sounds appealing in itself. The cruise ship is decked out with a sundeck, a gym, lounge, spa and pool. On top of that, diners have ten exceptional restaurants to chose from.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear as though any of the original cast members plan on making an appearance at sea.
