Love Island USA is coming to Irish television very, VERY soon

It's safe to say that Love Island has, once again, taken over our summer.

In the weeks since it began, there has been countless conversations about recoupling, getting mugged off, and not putting all of your eggs in one basket. And, you know, the standard kind of drama: breakups, makeups and plenty of challenges. But with the end of Love Island 2019 in sight, it looks like we're already nearing the end of our time in the summer villa. We know, we can't quite believe it either. But while the UK run of the series is nearing the end, we won't have too long to wait until there's more Love Island on our screens. To fill the villa-sized hole in fans' lives, Virgin Media Two will be airing Love Island USA from Sunday, July 28 onwards. The first episode kicks off after Love Island UK, at 10pm - and there are definitely a few differences compared to the version we've grown so used to. For starters, Love Island USA is a lot shorter. The series kicked off in North America on July 7 - and it airs five nights a week, for four weeks. And the prize fund is a lot bigger, too. The new batch of Islanders are vying for the $100,000 (€90,000) prize. The official description for the series reads:
