Love Island: Liam tells Gemma how he’s feeling as Dami makes his move on Amber

Before there was Gemma and Davide, there was Gemma and Liam.

In last night's episode, we saw Gemma and Davide coupling up, ultimately leaving Liam single and vulnerable, but it isn't long until Liam tries to win her back. Speaking in the Beach Hut, Gemma says: “Me and Davide are now a couple which I’m quite excited about. I’m really happy and I’m really looking forward to getting to know him a bit more and seeing where it goes.”  Also in the Beach Hut, Davide says: “I feel really happy with how things have been tonight. I’m now in a couple with Gemma and I’m really happy that she actually felt the same as me. I feel like there is something good between us.” But despite the new couple seeming happy, Gemma is in need of knowing how Liam feels about Davide choosing her. Speaking at the fire pit with Gemma, Liam says: “Tomorrow is a new day - I’ve got work to do!”  Gemma replies: “Me being in a couple with him hasn’t changed how I feel about you. I still want to chat to you. It’s still early days. But I can imagine it’s not a nice situation to be in.” Liam then says: “You’re still at the top of my tree! I’ve got a good feeling about you. You are girlfriend material, the way you are and the way you carry yourself.”  But these are the only two making moves as Dami and Amber are seeming to get a lot closer in this episode. Coupled up for a whopping two days now, Amber is hoping to get to know Dami better and see what he's about. Speaking with him, Amber says: "Don’t be so serious with me.” Dami asks: “Do you think I’m serious?” Amber says: “Yeah with me a little bit.” Dami then says: “I feel like you’re too serious.” Amber says: “I’m not serious at all. I want you to be you.” Sparks are already starting to fly and later in the evening, the two are sat chatting at the bar when Dami asks Amber: "You’ve been giving me eyes. I can see your eyes looking at me and I keep thinking, am I in trouble?” Amber says: “You see me watching you! I’m intrigued by you. I’m trying to work out what you’re thinking.” Dami asks: “What am I thinking now?” Amber says: “I don’t know. You tell me.” Dami says: “I can’t tell you but I can show you.” And you guessed it, the pair of them share their first ever kiss, romance at its finest.
