CHALDISH.

In a not-so-shocking turn of events, Joanna has exited the Love Island villa.

It was an emotional time, it was an upsetting time, it was an exciting time for Amber who absolutely still has feelings for the firefighter despite being pied by him a few weeks back.

Amber has mentioned that she would be open to getting back with Michael multiple times, and even though he hasn’t really appeared to express any interest such a possibility, tonight’s dumping result could be about to change things.

Because now Michael and Amber are alone – and there’s all to play for.

Joanna has since said a part of her expected Michael to leave the villa with her, and now that he hasn’t, she isn’t really sure what’s going to happen.

“Me and Michael will have to see how he gets on whilst he is in the villa and when he gets out, so for now there is a pause on us,” she says.

“You never know if he’s going to crack on with Amber. If they’re meant to be, they will be. If they do get together and are happy, I’ll be happy for them.”

She goes on:

“Part of me expected Michael to leave with me, however I don’t want to be in control of someone’s life journey and if he wants to continue in the villa, to get to know someone else or see where things go, I’ve got respect for that.

“It is a bit disappointing but I’d never hold that against him.”

The 22-year-old said that she doesn’t have any regrets about her time on the show, even though she is “gutted” that she won’t get to spend more time in the villa.

She also says that seeing as Michael didn’t leave with her, she isn’t completely sure how to feel about him now.

“I am a bit in limbo about how I’m feeling about Michael,” she says.

“We got along well and had lots in common and laughed together but for me I need to put it on pause and then we can see what happens when he leaves the villa.”
