NOOOOO.
Let’s not beat around the bush, guys. Last night didn’t bode too well for Yewande and Danny.
The pair had a bit of an awkward chat where Danny told Yewande he really liked her and Yewande said that she didn’t believe his head wouldn’t be turned if somebody else walked into the villa.
Danny said he didn’t really know what else he could do if Yewande wasn’t willing to believe that he was interested.
She also completely curved his kiss when they found out they were saved by the public so, you know, not the greatest scenario in the world going forward.
As it turns out, things are only set to go from bad to worse for the pair as Danny begins to outwardly question whether things are ever going to work between them.
“It’s not easy for me,” he says in the Beach Hut tonight. “I’ve really made my intentions clear but I am a bit dejected tonight.”
Earlier on in the show, Curtis also approaches Yewande about how things are going.
She says that they’re fine before Curtis reveals that Danny has been having his own doubts about where Yewande’s head is at.
“He said he didn’t know if you liked him,” says Curtis.
“That is the only frustrating thing with Danny,” replies Yewande. “I just feel like he always needs reassurance.”
“I’m not going to tell you every day that I really like you. It’s never going to happen.”
Really doesn’t seem like this relationship is going to happen any time soon either, to be honest.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
