Actress Gemma Atkinson, who previously starred in Casualty and Hollyoaks, is set to join the Emmerdale cast.
According to reports, the 30-year-old will play the role of Bob Hope’s daughter Carly.
Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: “She will make a great addition to the cast”.

Actress Rebecca Ryan previously played the role of Carly, appearing on the soap in 2001 and 2006.
Fans of I’m A Celebrity may recognise Gemma as she took part in the 2007 series.
Gemma is well known for her roles as Lisa Hunter in Hollyoaks and Tamzin Bayle in Casualty.
