Yeah, we get it.
We adore Love Island. It’s our break away from the big bad world and we can totally hit the off button the minute we switch the channel and the opening close-ups of toned bodies come on the screen.
As we’ve mentioned before, Love Island is for everyone and if you claim only stupid people watch it, then you are indeed… stupid.
However, there are points in the show where we really have to roll our eyes at how 20-somethings don’t know basic knowledge.
And the most recent eye-roll moment came from the new islander Ellie.
While she was having a conversation with Sam Bird, the topic of hot dogs came up… and well, this is how it went:
“I get all confused, what’s a cow? What’s that? Beef? Is that lamb? Is that mince? And do you know what I don’t understand, the leg of a cow and the head of a cow taste different.”
Erm, right. Anyway, after that little moment on Friday, everyone start comparing Ellie to Hayley on Twitter… and yes, we do see it:
