Prince George is a little cutie.
We’ve all adored him from when he was a little baby, but it seems the older he gets, the less royal cues he takes.
Just look at the time his baby brother Louis was born. When George and Charlotte went to meet the new arrival, you can see Prince William bending down and telling his children to wave.
Charlotte gave what can only be called the wave of the century, while George… well, George did no such thing.
That’s why when we spotted this from yesterday’s royal palace balcony, we couldn’t help but have a little laugh.
At the 2018 Trooping the Colour, George was standing beside William’s cousin Peter Phillips’ eldest daughter, Savannah, 7.
As the music for the British national anthem “God Save the Queen” began to play, Savannah silenced him by placing her hand over George’s mouth… and of course, the photo has now gone viral:

Prince George might be our future King but elder 2nd cousin Savannah decides she’s the boss on the balcony whilst younger sister Isla can’t contain her giggles! #TroopingtheColour #BuckinghamPalace pic.twitter.com/AXK6QZrC9w

Savannah Phillips clearly isn’t a fan of George’s singing of the national anthem ? #TroopingtheColour pic.twitter.com/MaStyuw9mm

Without a shadow of a doubt, the loveliest moment of #TroopingtheColour today: Savannah Phillips conducted the band during the National Anthem, then hushed her cousin, Prince George (the future King) when he started to chat.
THAT is #girlpower. pic.twitter.com/S1B0BhYrcl— John Nichol (@JohnNicholRAF) June 9, 2018
Savannah Phillips does not like her cousin Prince George singing the national anthem. She places her hands on his mouth as the music starts playing #TroopingtheColour pic.twitter.com/1y6CD1sTit

Was he being bold and singing out of tune? Was he going to sing nonsense? Was he going to scream and shout? We’ll never know…
