Bryan Cranston says there’s been talks of a Malcolm in the Middle film

This would be unreal!

The Breaking Bad star has revealed the idea of a Malcolm in the Middle movie has been talked about by the cast.

Malcolm in the Middle was our favourite show on TV in the early noughties.

Bryan Cranston, who played the father’s role of Hal to sons Malcolm, Dewey, Francis and Reese has come out and said there have been conversations of a movie in the making.

Speaking in a Reddit AMA along with James Franco last night, Bryan said a reunion of the cast and a film could be very likely in the near future.

“There has been some conversation about [a film]…

“I don’t know if or when that could happen, I guess we have to gauge the temperament of the fans to see if it’s something they want. But maybe…

“It would be fun to play with all those people again.”

In conversation with E! News during the Summer, the actor was also full of hope for a reboot of the once hilarious sitcom.

“I really do, for no other reason than that I miss those people like crazy and I stay in touch with them…

“There’s a possibility we want to start talking putting together a story that makes sense about that family 10 years or 12 years later.”

We can only cross our fingers and play the waiting game at this stage.
