Tulisa Contostavlos has lost an appeal against her assault conviction, according to reports this morning.
Last year the former X Factor judge was found guilty of hitting blogger Savvas Morgan at V Festival in August 2013 and was fined £3,020.
However a judge upheld the conviction instead opting to change the conditions of the sentence (she did not have to pay £100 compensation and the £200 fine was changed to a conditional discharge).
Judge Radford said: “We find that (Tulisa) was not calm, this was a lack of self control – the reasons we understand – and for a brief moment, we find that she did strike Mr Morgan, before very speedily the incident was brought to an end.”
Tulisa, who claimed during the case that Morgan had a “vendetta” against her, will have to pay an extra £1,500 in appeal costs.
