Actress Sarah Jessica Parker has posted a sweet message in tribute to her recent trip to Ireland.
The star has spoken about her love for the Emerald Isle on many occasions. Back in 2022 she took to Instagram to say Ireland was “always hard to leave”.
This time around, the 58-year-old shared pictures of her favourite food from her humble trips to Supervalu, as well as quiet moments with tea in the garden and a good book.
SJP regularly makes trips to Co. Donegal with her husband Matthew Broderick to their holiday home in Kilcar.
Their back garden features in many of the photos as she shared her holiday reading material and an Irish classic – the rasher.
Sharing a lovely message about her time here, she took to Instagram today to write a short and sweet tribute.
Having left the island of Ireland this week, she said: “Photos really. They never quite capture it. And there is always more. And you should have SEEN it.
“Had a bite. Smelled the turf. Watched the sea. Heard him talking. Cooked the chop. Buttered the spud. The new spud. Seen the colours. Touched the tweed. Had the tea. The perfect York cabbage.
“So we did. So it was. Til the next time. X, SJP.”
