Influencer Miriam Mullins gets honest about her battle with anxiety

Influencer Miriam Mullins has opened up about how her battle with anxiety has affected her life.

The 27-year-old bravely opened up about her mental health in a recent TikTok video. Miriam told her followers that she is only now growing into herself. She said she really struggled with her confidence and her self-esteem was at an all time low. She shared: "I hated how I looked, I hated my body – I just hated myself, and that’s so raw for me to say, but I’m so glad to say that I’m at a point now where my confidence is really good." The influencer said she still struggles with her anxiety, but said she is doing a lot better. "I’m not perfect, I get anxiety, I get stressed about things, and that’s so normal."

"But confidence-wise and how I feel about myself – I’m literally so proud of myself ’cause I’m at such a good place." Miriam said she has been struggling with looking at her old content, even videos from 2021 and 2022. She said the content is now private because it makes her cringe. She also said it hurts her to look back on '2021 and 2022 Miriam' because her confidence was so low. Miriam shared, "I just want to hug her. I want to hug 2021 – I even want to hug 2022 Miriam." Miriam urged anyone in a similar situation to stay strong. "I know as a woman and as a girl, it’s really hard to get out of that mindset that’s like ‘oh my God, I’m not pretty enough, I’m not good enough’ – yes you are!"
