Joe Swash addressed the waves of backlash they faced following the lavish trip.
Stacey Solomon’s husband Joe Swash has spoken out against trolls who slated them for going on a lavish holiday. Joe and Stacey came under fire last month after posting about their family trip to Turkey, which allegedly cost €40k.
The couple were called out for boasting about such an expensive holiday during the cost of living crisis. However, Joe said both he and Stacey worked hard for the trip.
He told The Mirror:
“We work really hard and we try to take our kids on holiday. We only work hard so we can spend more time and do more things with our family.”
The dad-of-six continued: “People are going to have a go but it’s fine they’re allowed their opinion and we take it with a pinch of salt.”
Stacey previously addressed the backlash shortly after their family holiday and told haters to unfollow her if they don’t like what she posts.
The influencer said: “If me sharing our holiday doesn’t make you feel good then unfollow or just mute me or something. I love coming on here and sharing things so much and I love our community on here.”
The mum-of-five and her family stayed at the lavish Regnum Carya resort in Antalya, Turkey.
