The iconic Cher has confirmed she will be starring in Mamma Mia 2

She's returning to our screens!

Yes! Cher has announced on Twitter that she will be starring in the upcoming musical sequel Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again. It all came to light when Cher fan @itzaneylis tweeted the star for confirmation after reading on Broadway World that she would appear in the flick.

And Cher, who is known as a self-confessed Twitter addict quickly replied and actually CONFIRMED that she will be lending her acting and singing talents to the latest musical addition.

Her role in the film has not yet been confirmed but we are so excited to see what character she will be playing. Most members of the 2008 cast have announced that they are retuning for the sequel. Now, we are beyond ready to sing along (badly) to this hit in the cinemas once again.
