“They were all running around saying it was a heatwave!”
Sarah Roberts and James Stewart have said that having their wedding in Ireland was “magic.”
The Home and Away stars tied the knot on July 23 in Luttrellstown Castle, a stunning venue in Castleknock, Dublin.
The couple said that they opted to have their wedding in Ireland as Roberts’ brother Karl lives in Dublin, and because of Stewart’s own Irish roots.
“He’s not able to fly at the moment because of health reasons. And my mum’s over here at the moment as well,” Roberts told Who Magazine.

“Jimmy and I wanted to get married within a year after he proposed. (We thought) either July or December. December is going to be really cold in Ireland, so we thought July would be perfect and actually it was!
“It was 25 degrees the day we got married, which is really unusual for Ireland at this time. They were all running around saying it was a heatwave!”
Stewart said that the whole experience has left him “in a daze.”
“I’m on cloud nine,” he said. “We could have easily gotten married under a tree by some water or on a property up in the hills, anywhere! But this has been magic.”

Roberts and Stewart, who are both from different parts of Australia, have since returned to their home to get back to work on the soap.
Luttrellstown Castle can house 54 guests a night although renovations, believed to cost millions, are currently ongoing to extend the number of bedrooms.
Roberts is said to have picked a gown from Australian designer Alin Le’ Kalm, with Yahoo reporting that she changed into a lighter halterneck version for the evening afterparty.
The couple’s families made the journey for the wedding but their fellow cast members were unable to attend.
