Thick and coarse hair tends last a lot longer than fine and thin hair, but one way to ensure your roots will stay greasy is to wash your hair every day.
By resisting the urge to wash it every day or two days will help reduce the grease (I know, but it's true.) Training our hair to get used to the oil, you can end up getting a few more days of not needing to wash your hair. The more you clean your hair, the more oil your scalp naturally thinks it needs and produces it more frequently to compensate.
As well as not washing it as often, if you suffer from particularly greasy hair, invest in a purifying shampoo. Speak to your hairdresser about what the best one is for you. And trust them with this, shop-bought shampoo is not recommended by hairdressers for a reason.
While washing your hair, only ever put conditioner on the ends and never the roots as this will make them appear greasier sooner.Vogue Williams opens up about I’m A Celeb ‘breakdown’ that was cut from the show
