”You made us look like idiots”
A video emerged earlier this week which shows popstar Olly Murs saving a woman from choking.
The video which is shot from a far, shows Olly perform the Heimlich manoeuvre on a brunette who appears to be choking.
Fans took to Twitter to praise the star for thinking on his feet and saving someone’s life.
However, Olly himself tweeted on Saturday morning, two days after the video was released, to say that it was fake.

It appears the ordeal was actually all stage for Alan Carr’s skit show Happy Hour.
Some fans said that they knew it was fake all along while others said they were annoyed about being tricked.
