Yes, this did happen.
Kim Kardashian went to the White House yesterday to have a meeting with Donald Trump about prison reform. The pair reportedly met to talk about one person in particular, a 63-year-old grandmother who is serving a life sentence for a first-time drug offence.
And although it is unknown as to what was exactly discussed in the meeting, it is reported that Kim was invited to the Oval Office for the meeting with Trump by the president himself.
Both of them tweeted about their meeting after, with Kim thanking the president for his time…
I would like to thank President Trump for his time this afternoon. It is our hope that the President will grant clemency to Ms. Alice Marie Johnson who is serving a life sentence for a first-time, non-violent drug offense.

The world however is in sheer disbelief that this gathering even occurred, many praised the star for trying to spark change while others criticised her and poked at the fact that there is surely someone more qualified to talk about prison reform then Kim Kardashian? While others thought that maybe this was a sign that Kanye was back in the running for president. Hmm.
