A huge question mark hangs over what was destined to be the greatest string of gigs in Croke Park history and the confirmed cancellation of two Garth Brooks dates has caused uproar amongst the masses.
Joke tweets and outraged Facebook statuses have been flooding our timelines however our favourite comment of the day goes to a hospitable bunch of folk over at Killinkere GAA club in Cavan.
In an open letter addressed to Aiken Promotions the club offer up their grounds as an alternative venue and extend their generosity by also offering raffle prizes and support acts.

Sure where else would Garth get it?
New friends of the club, make sure to follow actual festival @KKJamboree. Much better craic than a Garth Brooks gig

Well played, lads. Well played.
Our country hats are off to our lovely JOE bros for this one… we may not have Brooks, but we’ll always have them.
