Chris O’Dowd has taken to Twitter to slam security at Gatwick Airport for their treatment of his three-month-old son, Art.
The Moone Boy star was travelling through the UK airport with his wife Dawn O’Porter when the baby was ‘bodychecked’ by staff at the facility, leading the actor to hit out in a tirade online.
Thanks Gatwick security! Some might think body-searching a baby and binning his bottle was over zealous and weird, but not me! #ScaryBaby

According to Mail Online, a spokesperson for Gatwick Airport declined to comment on individual cases but said that all passengers “are subject to the normal security screening processes at the airport”.
‘When young babies come through security we ask parents to carry them. If the scanning equipment picks up something, we have to check both the parent and the baby,” they said.
“We always try to handle these searches sensitively. The restrictions around liquids are government requirements, and passengers are advised that when travelling with a baby, they are allowed to take enough baby food, baby milk and sterilised water for the journey.”
The complaint comes weeks after Charmed actress Alyssa Milano slammed Heathrow Airport officials for throwing away her pre-pumped breast milk.
