Cardi B handed herself in to New York police last night.

It comes after the police were looking for her after her involvement in a fight which took place in a strip club.

The New York City Police Department has told Radio 1 Newsbeat that charges for the rapper are “pending.”

Her lawyer told ABC News that Cardi received a summons for misdemeanor reckless endangerment and assault.

“We are aware of no evidence that she caused anybody any harm from that night,” her lawyer, Jeff Kern said.

“We expect the matter to be resolved expeditiously.”

Nine other people were reportedly speaking to the police about the incident as well.

The attack reportedly happened at Angels Strip Club in the Queens area of New York. It is claimed Cardi B and her entourage got into a fight with a bartender during which chairs, bottles and hookah waters pipes were thrown. The bartender and another employee were injured and Cardi and her gang fled.
