Because mama needs her coffee.
It is 2020, but still – incredibly enough – some people still have issues with a mum feeding her baby THE WAY NATURE INTENDED in public.
We know. It’s actually insane. Especially when we live in a world that sees nothing wrong with using naked bodies – and boobs in particular – to sell anything from perfume to cars.
Breastfeeding is normal, necessary and also a beautiful bonding moment between a mama and her baby.
Which is why we love to see mums doing just this – in settings that make you just realise how perfectly normal this all is.
We are currently loving new mama Ashley Graham for her pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood realness. After sharing lots of pregnancy details with her social media followers over the past nine months, Graham is now letting the world in on her life as a new mum – including a recent snap she posted of herself breastfeeding baby Isaac.
Captioning the photos with nothing but the emojis for coffee and milk, Graham handily got her point across. She’s having a (probably much needed) coffee while also nursing her newborn. End of story.
Thank you for keeping it real, Ashley – us mums love you for it!
