This sounds weird AF.
While it’s true that being pregnant makes parts of your body more tender and sensitive, this is certainly one symptom we’ve never heard of before.
In Mean Girls, we did see Amanda Seyfried play the role of Karen who claimed that her boobs could predict when it was going to rain.
Well, as strange as Karen’s predictions were, it seems actress Amanda also has a sixth sense.
According to Jezebel, Amanda spoke about how she felt different since she got pregnant with her partner Thomas Sadoski.
When asked about any immediate changes she noticed since she became pregnant, Amanda’s first suggestion seems a little strange to us. Speaking of her new power, Amanda said
“I swear to god I can smell the TV…
“There’s this static-y, metal-y scent. Do you know what I’m talking about?”
As bizarre as it sounds, it turns out that smelling static electricity is actually a symptom of pregnancy. Who knew?
