One girl tried this Beauty Blender cleaning hack and failed miserably

Some weeks ago, we told you ladies about an amazing Beauty Blender cleaning hack that involved very little effort and spending hardly any money. The hack was simple: fill a cup with water and washing-up liquid and drop your dirty sponge in there. Pop it in the microwave for just one minute and hey presto – a good-as-new Beauty Blender. Sounds like the answer to our makeup sponge cleaning prayers right?

Well, yes, but only if you do it right. One girl who learned that lesson the hard way was Victoria who spotted the hack on Twitter and after reading all the praise for the simple solution decided to try it herself. However, she missed one vital step in the process and, well, you can see the upsetting results in the picture below.
