And yes, I know, we have to start packing away our shorts and beach towels, but also – we are on the cusp of the cosiest season of all.

We never tire of this chance encounter turns into short-term friendship turns into something more. The backdrop of New York City is pretty spectacular too.
4. Good Will Hunting
Set in beautiful Cambridge, Massachusetts, Will Hunting (played by Matt Damon) learns to embrace his genius IQ—with a little help from a passionate psychology professor (played by Robin Williams).
5. You’ve Got Mail
As the leaves fall and seasons change, this pair’s quirky friendship will turn out to be so much more than they were expecting. And again – the autumnal New York scenes are worth the watch alone.
6. Sweet Home Alabama
This movie has got it all – the romance, the drama and last, but not least, the gorgeous fall foliage of the deep south.
7. E.T., The Extra-Terrestrial
Remember that scene where the kids dress E.T. up as a ghost for Halloween? So cute, so autumn-y.

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan meet again in this classic and adorable love story – and we can’t help but fall a little bit in love with Seattle too, especially in all its autumnal glory.

You may jump once or twice, but the original Ghostbusters is all about taking on “something strange in the neighbourhood” with a little laughter.
10. Dead Poets Society
