The star faced intense scrutiny after the show.
Scarlett Moffatt was on the panel for last night’s Aftersun, sharing her thoughts and opinions on this year’s finalists.
And while her opinions on Wes and Megan might have had Twitter talking, her notifications were filled with other comments.
The former Gogglebox star was again the victim of cruel trolling as her appearance was mocked by some viewers.
Taking to Twitter late last night after the show aired, Scarlett hit back at those cruel comments, saying:
“I’m honestly ashamed of some people on here.
“Hard to pretend I’m OK and be a good role model to others about how it’s OK to just be you when the comments from grown adults on here have resulted in me crying my eyes out!
“I hope you’re very proud of yourselves.”
Scarlett went on to admit that she finds it difficult to go on TV now as it just results in personal attacks on her appearance.

No wonder the amount of people including myself with social anxiety is increasing. Feel like I can’t even film tv shows without hating the way that I look after – from constantly being attacked because of my size and my appearance!

Feel like I need to speak out for others!! This is not fair this needs to stop!! Please to the people out there who aren’t loving themselves right now please don’t let other people stop you from doing what you love. Real beauty shines from within ❤️

However, it wasn’t long until Scarlett’s legion of loyal fans came to defend her, including Love Island voiceover Iain Stirling.
“When I saw you today, you looked [fire emoji] and we (as ever) the sweetest, most approachable individual out there!
“Sleep well knowing how little the trolls matter! YAS KWEEN (of the jungle).”
