Anyone for a winter break away?

We know, we know – summer’s barely come to an end, but we’re already casting an eye towards our next vacay.

And WOW Air have just made the planning process so much easier with the introduction of their latest North American route.

The low-cost airline announced today [September 5] that they are launching flights to Orlando, Florida –  meaning it now flies to 15 North American cities from Dublin.

The flights will operate three times a week from December 18 until the end of April next year.

Basically, the perfect excuse if you’re looking to get away from the wintry weather this year – especially since the average December temperatures for Orlando are around 23C.

It gets even better, though.

To mark the latest addition to their flight routes, WOW air are going to be offering flights from Dublin to Orlando for €129.99 in the new year.

Svanhvít Fridriksdóttir, Director of Communications at WOW air, said:

“We are delighted to offer our Irish passengers a new and exciting North American destination. The addition of Orlando to our flight network reflects our commitment to continually improve our offering for our Irish passengers.

“With the high number of theme and water parks in the city, Orlando is known as one of the best destinations in the world for family holidays.

“Orlando’s beautiful weather means that the odds are good for Irish people looking to escape the winter gloom to experience the sun, fun, glamour and adventure that Orlando offers.

“To celebrate this great addition to our range of options, we will offer flights from Dublin to Orlando for the price of €129.99 on select dates from January to March of 2019.”
