Mary-Kate Olsen has hinted that she may be designing her own wedding dress for her upcoming nuptials.
The star, who got engaged to 44-year-old French banker Olivier Sarkozy two months ago, has admitted that even though she’s not far along in the wedding planning process she may be responsible for designing her own gown.
Speaking in a recent interview with Marie Claire, the former actress said:
“I think it may be a matter of getting five or six, or making two or three and being stressed out.
“’That seems kind of far away. We’ll take one step at a time.”
The 27 year old, who oversees a number of fashion labels such as The Row, Elizabeth and James and the more affordable lines Olsenboye and StyleMint with her twin sister Ashley Olsen, has already designed a wedding gown for a friend, telling Marie Claire she “enjoyed the process”.
With sisters Ashley and Elizabeth set to share the fashion spotlight on her big day, it’ll be interesting to see what style wins out at the designer’s wedding.
