This is a tragic story...

We are never going swimming again.

In Australia, two women were swimming in waist-deep water at Thornton Beach when one of them was snatched by a crocodile.

One of the women, Cindy Waldron has been feared dead after the accident.

Waldron, 46, was swimming with her friend at the World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park in Queensland when her body was dragged underwater by a crocodile.

Waldron’s friend ran to get help but it was impossible to save her.

Speaking to ABC, policeman Senior Constable Russell Parker confirmed the tragic news:

“Her 47-year-old friend tried to grab her and drag her to safety and she just wasn’t able to do that.

“It would be very, very distressing for her.”

Reportedly, the search continues for the 46-year-old woman who is yet to be found.

The 47-year-old survivor of the incident was admitted to Mossman Hospital where she was treated for shock and grazes from the crocodile attack.
