Lucinda Creighton took to Twitter this evening to inform her followers that a TD, who hasn’t been named, plans to send 85,000 Christmas cards.
I couldn’t get a constituency newsletter printed in Leinster House b/c one TD clogged up the printer with an order for 85000 Christmas cards

Of course, that astronomical figure was met with great surprise, as spotted by our JOE bros.
Matt Cooper of Today FM’s The Last Word replied to Lucinda’s tweet querying the figure.
.@LCreighton is 85,000 a misprint on your part, so to speak? Did you not mean 850 or 8,500? — Matt Cooper (@cooper_m) December 22, 2015
However, Lucinda was quick to reassure him that there was no mistake and this particular TD clogged up the printer at Leinster House with 85,000 Christmas cards.
@cooper_m Eighty Five thousand. To be clear!

Needless to say, people aren’t happy and think the TD in question should be named.
@cooper_m @LCreighton – If its taxpayers €€ involved, the TD in question should be named. Immediately. — Anthony Lawless (@Anthony_Lawless) December 22, 2015
@cooper_m @LCreighton please name the Td
