House of Fraser in Dundrum Town Centre has received backlash over their latest window display.
In the lead-up to Valentine’s Day, the store has opened a pop-up shop for Agent Provocateur; a luxury lingerie brand within the store. Promoting the new concession, the department store is marketing the underwear on their shop window.
However, the marketing imagery is not going down well with locals and parents who spoke to the Independent calling the campaign “soft porn”. One parent, Kenneth Durr, called the image of a woman draped across a couch in underwear as something “you find on a page three,” while another parent called it “immoral” and “over the borderline”.
@DavQuinn I have been to House of Fraser in Dundrum and told them I do not wish my children, as happened on Sunday evening, to be abused by immoral soft core porn in the Dundrum Centre. They said they have had a lot of complaints but are not budging. I’ve contacted media etc, etc pic.twitter.com/mlPHAdtZiK

Contacting House of Fraser, Kenneth told the publication that the store had received many complaints about the image, however, they would not be removing it from the shop front.
We have contacted House of Fraser for a comment.
