George Shelley’s younger sister tragically dies after car accident

Ex-Union J singer George Shelley’s younger sister, Harriet, was hit by a car on Friday last and was battling for her life in intensive care.

Harriet was being treated for severe head injuries in ICU after the accident, however, tragically the 21-year-old passed away in Southmead Hospital in Bristol over the weekend due to her serious injuries. George and Harriet’s mum, Toni, confirmed the heartbreaking news to The Sun, saying she was “in the wrong place at the wrong time.” She also thanked all the medical staff that worked on her daughter over the last few days. “Everybody at the hospital has been amazing, they have been working 24/7 to make she is alright. I would also like to thank everyone in Clevedon for praying for our daughter." Harriet had just graduated with a degree in midwifery and had posted on social media about going on holiday after finishing her dissertation.
